On Saturday, April 7th, I went to the short north gallery hop with my boyfriend. It was a lovely evening. We enjoyed some pretty cool paintings by obscure artists (everything ridiculously overpriced) and had ice cream at Jeni's because it's basically against moral standards to go to the short north without indulging in some fabulous Jeni's! The short north gallery hop is one of my favorite things about Columbus. It's so cute and artsy, everyone should do it before they graduate!

I also got a chance to go to the gallery hop this Spring. There was a lot of live music outside the galleries which ended up being my favorite part. Maybe it was because the weather was so nice, but the Short North seemed to be more lively than ever. Not only was the music outside live, but there were also live models in some of the windows of shops. Overall, I had a great time walking around looking at art, window shopping, and listening to local talents.
