Picnic with Ben
So the rain held off long enough for four of us to join Ben in a simply lovely picnic. We mostly enjoyed playful banter about the Cap City Half Marathon. All of brought our own dinners while Ben partook of just a Wendy's beverage. We ate on one of the benches on the Oval. It was a lovely half and hour and I think more people should definitely come next time because it was simply delightful.

Picnic with Ben was so much fun, everyone who wasn't there totally missed out. It was a grand afternoon.
ReplyDeleteMolly Ryan and I had class until 4:30, and we went to the Union to pick up some food. Ben told us he would meet us on the Oval, but that didn't happen, I now understand how it feels for Ben and Daniel when no one shows up to their dinners.
ReplyDeleteAnyways, we ate alone on a bench and watched some people practicing on a tightrope.
The picnic was absolutely wonderful. I enjoyed a ham, salami, lettuce, and mayonaise sandwich and a banana from Fresh Express as well as the company of my fellow Humanities Scholars. Hopefully next time the ground won't be so wet so we can frolic more in delight of Spring.
